I was ill last week. Probably it was Fresher’s flu although I am not a fresher anymore. It’s certainly happy to be back to normal after suffering headache and fever, you only appreciate it when you lost it. So it’s good to have to ill once a long while, it makes me appreciate how important it’s to be normally healthy.
A few things to update:
Freshers
I don’t remember my life was affected much by freshers last year, maybe because I was living out in a house outside college area. It was nice and quiet. But this year, since Shoichi Hall is just behind St. Merry and also near Grey and Collingwood colleges, every night there were fresher singing, shouting and partying late at night. I was a fresher before and don’t think we were that loud and crazy!
Well, once in a life thing, hope they enjoy it in a sensible way.
AJS
We had a welcome party last week. It turned up quite well and I had a lot new faces as well. There are a lot of events going this year and for this term, the AJS banquet is the biggest one, and it’s already under planning.
Classes and dissertation
Although it’s final year and classes are getting less, but it doesn’t mean workload get less. There are lessons, speech, reading, discussions and hell loads of stuffs need to be done. Plus, I have to prepare for the Japanese Proficiency Test in December, extra more to deal with.
But term time life is better to be busy than messing around doing nothing. I’m enjoying it now so no complain.
