Partying

Haven’t really got time to sit down and write something from last post until now. Basically my schedule is full, if it’s not party, then it must be some sort of gathering or AJS events. Let me try to list what I have been doing these three days.

Friday (2nd Jun)

When everyone finished all their exams on Friday afternoon, we started drinking from 5:00pm in our house and then moved to Bar 24 to celebrate Kisako’s birthday. It was great to see and drink with all the good friends after stressing for exams, haven’t done this for months! And after that we went down to Walkabout to get bodies moved until around 2am. I was totally exhausted when I got home, but it was a great night.

Saturday (3rd Jun)

Woke up at around 11AM, got a bit cleaning done in the house and tried to tidy up my room. Then I went down to Grey college’s college day. That was great too. People started drinking from morning and lasted for the whole day. I just casually had a couple of drink with some friends from Grey and enjoying that party atmosphere.

Then in the evening there was my friend CC’s birthday party. Again, most of them are from my department or people that I know. It seems there are always people from that group I belong to. It was a good night, although didn’t get that drink at the end, but it’s always enjoyable just being with friends.

Sunday (4th Jun)

It’s the final AJS football game today. We kicked off at 3:00pm and finished at around 6:00pm. It was a proper 90 minutes game and I have to say it was an awesome game, both team (AJS Durham members and Teikyo members) played very well. We ended up with a PK to decide the winner (it was 6 to 6) and Teikyo team won the game by one goal. A bit pity to Durham team, but after all it’s a game to bring all our members together and have fun, that’s more important than who actually won!

Following that, we had a social and presentation at Varsity tonight. A prize of a bottle of champagne was presented to the winning team. They were very excited. As one of the organisers, I was happy to see people getting together, talking and drinking as a big group of good friends.

And that’s pretty much what I have been up to these three days up to this second, writing this post. There will be a lot more to go in the next few weeks. I am feeling busier than term time, but it’s all good! Uni life is only once in my life, I want to get most of it!

I have uploaded some photos Flickr, you are welcome to check them out, some of them are really funny! More will be on as time being.
