I wanted to write this post right after the Anglo-Japanese Society election held last Monday, but just the two not-yet completed summative essays keeps me away from my blog. I have just finished one so want to take a break and share the big news here – I am one of the new AJS execs! And thanks to my friends and other members’ supports, I am in charge of the president position!
Jonathon is the secretary, my housemate Megan is the publish officer, Nick is in charge of treasure, Andy (in one of the podcast talk) is the Teikyo University reps and a fresher Patrick is our social officer.
From now on, apart from my studies, I will need to contribute myself and do whatever I can for the society. As a quote I used in my speech at the election, ‘a leader is not only about ability, but it is more about responsibility’.
