How much? Depend on the weather

I got this coupon from a chain ramen shop called KOURAKUEN. I went there quite often because its price is suitable for students and the taste is good too. But last time when I went there for lunch, after I finished my ramen and paid my bill, they gave me this coupon. It said ‘When it’s rainy day, this coupon worth 100 yen; for a non-rainy day it worth 50 yen’.
This is interesting. The value of coupon depends on the whether it’s raining or not. But when I thought carefully, this make senses! Because it’s Tsuyu (the rainy season) in Japan now. In Japan, June is normally the time when it rains almost every day. Japanese call it ‘Tsuyu’. However this year luckily doesn’t rain so much, actually yesterday was sunny.
I guess KOURAKUEN might be a bit disappointed about this ”marketing strategy” this year :-)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s quite clever actually, sincce no one wants to go out when its raining just for ramen, although i would, this coupon should be enough to get them out their door….
it reminds me of tonkotsu ramen in Kumamoto…I’m going to cook myself some Instant noodles now…
